SUMO proteins play a role in a number of cellular processes such as nuclear transport, DNA replication and repair, mitosis and signal transduction.The synthetic peptide used to raise the antibody Cat. No. 200130 is selected from a sequence within the C-term region of human SUMO2/3. For blocking experiments, a 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended.
